The Peekskill BID is now accepting proposals to redesign the BID’s website. We want the website to serve as a captivating introduction to the sights, attractions, and diversity of downtown, help residents and visitors keep up to date on BID member events and promotions, and serve as a tool to attract new residents and businesses downtown.
If you know of anyone in the field, please find the BID website design Request for Proposals here.
The next BID Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 6pm to 8:15pm in the Senior Nutrition Room at the Neighborhood Center at 4 Nelson Avenue (all BID members are always welcome). To see what’s on the agenda or minutes from past meetings, click here. click here. |
Dear Peekskill BID Members,
I am writing to introduce myself -- my name is Jason Angell and I accepted the position of Executive Director/Administrator of the Peekskill Business Improvement District (BID) in November. One of our highest priorities will be to strengthen the BID's relationship with its members and over the coming months I look forward to meeting you all personally to hear your thoughts on how the BID can better serve your interests as business owners. Working together, with new energy and ideas, I see great potential in the BID's ability to affect positive change in Peekskill. Read more...

The Business Improvement District’s “Peekskill Makes Me Merry” Campaign was a success, largely thanks to the participation of BID members, with 30 stores signing up for holiday promotions to attract shoppers downtown, seven businesses serving as “stops” on the “Peekskill Pub & Eat Crawl”, and 10 businesses participating in “Peekskill’s Best Dressed Storefront” contest. During the campaign, we handed out 1,400 promotional buttons and our advertising campaign helped attract people to downtown and increased visits to the BID website by 25% (up to 3,200 visits for December).
Thanks you for all of your work, holiday spirit and faith that we can help contribute to making Peekskill merrier when we work together. We will look to build upon the event next year! Happy New Year. |
Farmers Market

Every Saturday morning from the start of summer through the fall, downtown’s Bank Street becomes the festive home of our popular Farmers’ Market. The market has a wide variety of vendors, offering everything from farm-fresh produce to hot, fresh from the oven breads and pies. Also included in the mix are fresh gourmet cheeses, honey, granola, and organic nuts, and NY wines, potted flowers and plants, handcrafted soaps and more…..
